Project Title: Engineering an antibacterial peptide to target multidrug-resistant Enterococcus faecalis
Project Summary:
The student's primary focus was the design and analysis of antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) for infectious diseases, with a specific emphasis on computational peptide engineering, sequence analysis, and structure–activity prediction.
This internship provided valuable hands-on experience and practical insights into applying bioinformatics and peptide engineering to infectious disease research. It also strengthened academic foundation and contributed to professional growth in antimicrobial resistance.
