Publications
Dr. Katete has published widely in biochemistry, biophysics, microbiology, biotechnology, environmental science, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Dr. Katete started his university education doing double majors in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Biotechnology, then continued with biochemistry and cell biology at MSc. He moved on to biophysics at MPhil and Ph.D., where he was introduced to calculus and physics used to solve protein structures and functions. Currently, his research focuses on structure-based drug/vaccine design.
